Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Database Administrator to support a large, complex program within the Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area. The role focuses on assessing SRG/STIG vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, and ensuring compliance with DoD policies.

Responsibilities include deploying STIGs across Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL, performing vulnerability scans, supporting RMF/ATO, and scripting with SQL. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Masters with 15-20 years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13-16 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience implementing and maintaining database security controls.
• Experience applying Oracle CPU patches, IAVA patches, and other database products.
• Experience with Linux security related to Oracle databases.
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and upgrading RDBMS software.
• Experience with PL/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain DISA STIGs for Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra and/or MongoDB.
• Perform vulnerability scans, analyze findings, and remediate security weaknesses.
• Support RMF processes and contribute to ATO packages.
• Conduct security readiness reviews and document POA&M items.
• Collaborate with ISSOs to validate and report compliance.
• Review SRG/STIG updates and report impactful changes.
• Determine risk of change requests and provide cyber oversight for web changes.
• Perform system updates and IAVA patching.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database problems.
• Perform database recovery actions.
• Modify/create database scripts and develop SQL queries.
