Job summary

CareOregon, Inc. is seeking a senior data architect to lead the design and development of enterprise data warehouse solutions.

You will model complex data sets, define ETL specifications, and guide architecture decisions across IS and business units. The role requires strong SQL, cloud data warehousing experience (Snowflake/Redshift), and collaboration with stakeholders to improve data quality, governance, and vendor coordination within a healthcare context.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of data warehouse architecture experience.
• Experience with dimensional modeling and metadata management.
• Knowledge of data quality assessment and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in SQL and data integration/ETL design.
• Experience with cloud warehousing solutions (Snowflake or Redshift).
• Knowledge of healthcare or managed care data environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create data models for advanced to complex subjects and guide junior architects.
• Create advanced ETL specifications to meet business data needs.
• Develop and maintain documentation of design and operation.
• Analyze data sources with leaders to balance business needs and risk.
• Lead long-term data architecture goals for IS and business.
• Direct the design and management of data warehouse and analytics architectures.
• Define standards and best practices for data modeling, ETL, and warehouse development.
• Coordinate with vendors on product evaluations and services.
