Job summary

CGS seeks an experienced Senior Data Specialist II to support the eDiscovery workflow for a large federal initiative. You will manipulate and load data, perform quality checks, and ensure productions meet ESI specifications, while supporting attorneys and investigators.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred in computer science or related field.
• Requires knowledge of litigation discovery process and the EDRM workflow.
• Knowledge of Government IT environment and office automation networks preferred.
• Experience with document review software and encryption methods.
• Experience with LAW, IPRO, Relativity or other document processing platforms.
• Familiarity with ICONECT, Relativity, MS Office Suite, and West LiveNote valued.
• At least two years’ experience in eDiscovery roles including processing, conversion, QA, loads/retrieval, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Performs file manipulation, loading, conversion services, database indexing, and quality checks of loads.
• Develops and modifies methodologies for manipulating files for COTS products and litigation support applications.
• Ensures incoming productions comply with ESI specifications.
• Exports data from databases, including redactions, ensuring compliance with ESI specs and QA.
• Supports client attorneys, investigators, and paralegals by tracking and processing documents, subpoena returns, and data; creates and manages review databases; produces documents to opposing parties.
• Coordinates with Litigation Support Manager to ensure productions follow ESI specs; provides detailed notices of deficiencies.
• Collaborates with client’s Technology Service Center on outsourced projects; assists with modifications of files for COTS tools and litigation apps.
