Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior Data Specialist II with extensive knowledge of litigation discovery to support an EDRM workflow for a federal initiative. This role involves data loading, export, QA, and collaboration with attorneys and paralegals using tools like Relativity, Everlaw, and CaseMap.

The position requires a background in eDiscovery, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with client systems and government IT environments.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred in computer science or related field.
• Knowledge of litigation discovery process and EDRM workflow.
• Experience with Windows, document review software, and encryption methods.
• Experience with LAW, IPRO, Relativity or other document processing platforms.
• Familiarity with ICONECT, Relativity, MS Office Suite valued.
• Minimum two years of eDiscovery roles including processing, conversion, data culling, QA, loads and retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Performs file manipulation, loading, conversion services, database indexing, and quality checks of loads.
• Develops and modifies methodologies for manipulating files for use with COTS products and litigation support applications.
• Ensures incoming productions meet applicable ESI specifications.
• Exports data from databases, validates redactions, and quality checks exported data against ESI specs.
• Supports client attorneys, investigators, and paralegals in processing documents and producing materials.
• Manages documents and data using review tools under guidance of client attorneys.
• Coordinates with the Technology Service Center on outsourced litigation projects.
• Ensures all exports comply with ESI specifications and client requirements.
• Assists Litigation Support Manager in modifying files for COTS tools and litigation support apps.
