Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Sr Data Solutions Analyst to design the SQL/Python pipelines, Snowflake models, and Power BI dashboards that power enterprise planning for USRM. You will own the technical vision and work hands-on with stakeholders across IT, finance, marketing, and distribution.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior analysts, delivering data-driven solutions, and leading improvements in data processes and reporting.

Qualifications

Strong SQL and Python experience building data pipelines and dashboards.
Experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
Familiarity with SAS and Office 365 applications.
Solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts, FP&A, planning, or budgeting support.
Experience mentoring or leading analysts or contractors.
Excellent communication across technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain SQL/Python data pipelines, models, and dashboards for enterprise planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
Own the technical architecture and design decisions for assigned data solutions from requirements through deployment.
Manage multiple projects and collaborate with stakeholders to implement data-driven improvements.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and validate solutions through testing and UAT.
Provide mentoring and code/design reviews to raise team capability.
Lead continuous improvement across processes, systems, and reporting infrastructure.
Prepare status updates and document technical/process details; lead end-user training.
Perform monthly data load/validation for close; develop automated AI-driven efficiencies.
