Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance seeks a Sr Data Solutions Analyst to design and implement SQL/Python pipelines and Snowflake models that power enterprise planning, forecasting, and budgeting for USRM. You will own the technical vision and work closely with IT, finance, marketing, and distribution to deliver data-driven solutions.

You will also mentor analysts, validate requirements, and drive continuous improvement in reporting infrastructure while managing multiple projects in a hybrid-era environment.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• Master's in same or related disciplines strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in coding for data management, data warehousing, or other data environments, including NoSQL, ETL, Java and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain SQL/Python-based data pipelines, models, and dashboards that support enterprise planning, forecasting, and budgeting solutions.
• Own the technical architecture and design decisions for assigned data solutions, from requirements through deployment.
• Manage multiple projects in parallel to implement system enhancements and new enterprise application solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement innovative, data‑driven solutions that increase process efficiency.
• Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications, and validate solutions through testing and user acceptance criteria.
• Analyze existing tools, processes, and data sources to identify and resolve gaps in accuracy, latency, and reliability.
• Mentor junior analysts and contractors, providing technical guidance and code/design review to raise the team’s overall capability.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts across business processes, systems, and reporting infrastructure.
• Prepare and present regular status updates on ongoing projects and solutions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Create and maintain technical and process documentation, and lead end‑user training.
• Perform monthly data load and validation activities for book close — develop automated and AI solutions to drive efficiencies.
