A PoC mindset and cross‑functional collaboration with senior leadership are essential. The role emphasizes hands-on data engineering, modern analytics tools, and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment

Qualifications

• Expertise in Hadoop architecture (HDFS, Ozone, Hive, Impala, YARN).
• Ability to develop API-driven ETL pipelines using cURL, PySpark, and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of object storage architectures (S3-compatible platforms, MinIO).
• Experience with Hadoop monitoring tools such as Cloudera Manager, Pepperdata, or Acceldata Pulse.
• Proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Prometheus, Grafana).

Responsibilities

• Design scalable analytics solutions within data lakes and warehouses to support capacity management and resource optimization.
• Build and maintain a single source of truth for capacity data and automate reporting.
• Analyze storage, compute, and resource utilization across Hadoop and cloud platforms to identify efficiencies.
• Lead PoC efforts for emerging technologies and evaluate their business value.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data into insights for leadership.
