Job summary

DoorDash Analytics is seeking a senior Data Scientist to guide measurement, strategy, and tactical decisions as the platform scales globally. You will turn insights into actionable recommendations across the organization and partner with cross-functional teams to drive real-world impact.

As a senior IC, you will mentor others, influence product and operations roadmaps, work with senior leadership, and lead measurement strategy and experiment design to drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, CS, or a related field.
• 8+ years of data science and product analytics experience.
• Strong technical leadership with business impact.
• Hands-on experimentation experience.
• Experience building data pipelines.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and influence junior Data Scientists in investigating complex issues.
• Influence Product and Operations roadmap with data-driven recommendations.
• Interface with senior leadership to present work and tackle complex problems.
• Drive measurement strategy, success metrics, and experiment design.
• Develop a strategic learning roadmap based on data observations and hypotheses.
