Job summary

Omnidian, Inc. in Seattle, WA, seeks a Senior Data Scientist to design, build, and scale advanced detection and diagnostic models for solar and storage assets. In the Resolv platform, you will take models from idea to production in collaboration with product, engineering, and operations.

You will own the ML lifecycle, apply time-series analysis, and lead end-to-end modeling projects. This remote-friendly role offers strong benefits and growth opportunities in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• MS in a quantitative field or equivalent experience; 6+ years in applied data science.
• Strong hands-on experience with time-series methods including anomaly detection and forecasting.
• Production ML experience with deployment, monitoring, and retraining pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience handling noisy, irregularly sampled, multi-sensor data at scale.
• Proven track record leading modeling projects end-to-end and shipping to production.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead issue detection & diagnostic models to identify underperformance, faults, and anomalies in PV and storage data.
• Build diagnostic logic to distinguish root causes (soiling, shading, inverter clipping, outages, sensor drift).
• Own the data science lifecycle from problem framing to production deployment in Resolv.
• Collaborate with engineering to deploy models and monitor performance in the field.
