Job summary

Amplify is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for our Sales Analytics team to own sales forecasting and champion data-driven decisions across our sales organization. You will analyze sales trends, build models predicting sales across product lines and regions, and turn forecasts into recommendations for revenue planning.

You will report to the Data Science Manager and work on a scrum team with Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts, shipping data products end-to-end and shaping the data stack from

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a data science role, with 3+ years in forecasting or revenue analytics.
• Expert in Python or R for data tasks.
• Strong time series forecasting knowledge (ARIMA, Prophet, LSTM).
• SQL proficiency for data analysis.
• Experience with ML libraries and production pipelines (PyTorch, scikit-learn, tidymodels, XGBoost).
• Experience deploying models on AWS SageMaker, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with version control and testing practices.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; able to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales forecasting excellence with statistical and ML models.
• Own end-to-end ML lifecycle: feature engineering, training, deployment, monitoring, explainability.
• Translate outputs into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
• Provide technical leadership: mentor juniors, lead design reviews, shape roadmap.
