Job summary

Fliff Inc. is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to embed in the marketing and growth function. You will build models, dashboards, and analyses to drive smarter spend, sharper targeting, and deeper understanding of players. You’ll own end-to-end work from data pulling to presenting insights to stakeholders.

You’ll measure long-term impact of marketing investments on retention, lifetime value, and monetization, collaborating with marketing, product, and finance leaders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a data scientist, marketing analyst, or growth analyst in consumer apps or gaming.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large, messy behavioral datasets.
• Hands-on experience building predictive models in Python (LTV, churn, propensity, segmentation).
• Experience evaluating long-term incremental impact of marketing spend and promotions.
• Knowledge of causal inference methods and when to apply them.
• Familiarity with attribution, incrementality, holdouts, and unit economics.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain predictive models for marketing strategy (LTV, churn, CAC payback, propensity to convert).
• Own marketing attribution and incrementality analyses across paid channels.
• Quantify causal impact and long-term value of promotions and lifecycle campaigns.
• Apply causal inference methods to evaluate investments where A/B tests aren’t possible.
• Partner with growth marketers to design and run experiments (A/B, geo-tests, holdouts).
• Develop dashboards and self-serve reporting for real-time visibility into channel performance and funnel health.
• Collaborate with data engineering to clean and structure data across marketing stack.
