Reddit, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to partner with product, engineering, marketing, and other teams to drive user and revenue growth through rigorous data analysis and measurement.

You will lead measurement and causal analyses, design experiments, and mentor others while owning key product-area insights and reporting. The role emphasizes business impact and data storytelling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or Operations Research.
• MS: 5+ years of industry experience in applied science or data science; PhD: 4+ years of experience.
• Expertise in querying relational databases (SQL) and programming languages (R/Python).
• Deep understanding of online experimentation (A/B testing), causal inference, and statistical techniques.
• Strong communication and ability to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop action-oriented insights to drive product strategy and communicate results to stakeholders up to the C-suite.
• Guide experimentation practices to maximize learnings from A/B tests.
• Create ETLs, tables, dashboards, and self-serve tools for data scientists and partners.
• Design, evaluate, and measure team KPIs to support quarterly goals.
• Engage with stakeholders to align DS work with business goals.
• Mentor junior data scientists to improve data literacy and decision making.
