Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Data Scientist, Product to join a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. You will shape product decisions using data, improve experimentation, and turn complex data into clear insights with measurable impact.

Location: Remote. Compensation: $180,370 – $212,200 annually. You will partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to drive statistical rigor, design experiments, and enable confident decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a quantitative field such as Math, Stats, Physics or CS with 5–7 years of experience or a PhD with 3–5 years.
• Proven track record of executing impactful data science projects in ambiguous environments.
• Strong ability to communicate data insights and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of complex business problems to provide actionable insights.
• Develop, optimize, and evaluate the performance of ML models and AI systems.
• Own and manage a wide range of data and metrics, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
• Lead code reviews and provide expertise in SQL and Python for data projects.
• Ensure high statistical rigor in experimentation and causal analyses to build stakeholder confidence.
• Design and execute experiments that inform product and business decisions.
