Job summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist, Revenue & Risk Analytics for Ladders to turn data into actionable strategies that boost revenue and reduce risk. You will partner with Product, Engineering, and client-facing teams to shape experiments, influence roadmaps, and translate findings into measurable business outcomes.

This remote-first role requires strong modeling rigor and the ability to bring clarity to complex problems in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product data science or consulting with a focus on strategic thinking and business impact.
• Strong statistical foundations in experimentation, causal inference, forecasting, and modeling.
• Experience collaborating with backend Product and Engineering teams on product roadmaps.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, A/B testing, and GitHub; familiarity with Snowflake and dbt.
• Intellectually curious with a holistic business perspective.
• Empathetic and collaborative, comfortable with ambiguity in a remote-first environment.
• Interest in AI tools to enhance workflow.
• Advanced degree in data science, analytics, economics, statistics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own and identify innovative strategies for revenue optimization and risk mitigation.
• Build narratives for client-facing teams to optimize and grow partnerships using data insights.
• Test optimization ideas and advocate for their implementation with Product and Engineering teams.
• Refine and improve data pipelines to leverage analytics for uncovering revenue opportunities.
• Set the standard for analytical thinking and excellence within the team.
