Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a Sr Consultant, Data Science and Analytics to join a high-performing Financial Services Analytics team. This hybrid role blends client-facing leadership with hands-on analytics, delivering predictive risk management and BI solutions for lenders and banks in the US.

You'll partner with cross-functional teams, mentor junior colleagues, and present insights to executive audiences, building proposals and collateral to promote integrated customer solutions while upholding

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in statistics, applied mathematics, financial mathematics, engineering, OR or similar.
• 4+ years of analytic experience in Financial Services or related industries.
• Multiple client-facing engagements over at least 3 years.
• Advanced programming: R or SAS; SQL, Hive, Pig, Python, C/C++, Java; familiarity with data platforms.
• Strong project management and ability to handle multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive new business initiatives for US financial services.
• Lead analytic client engagements using descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive methods.
• Design programs for data extraction, segmentation, and statistical analysis on large datasets.
• Deliver analytic insights and executive-ready presentations.
• Develop proposals and collateral to promote integrated TransUnion solutions.
