Job summary

TransUnion LLC is seeking a Sr Consultant, Data Science and Analytics in a hybrid role. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven initiatives for US financial services clients, leading analytic engagements and delivering insights to executives.

You will design programs for large-scale data analysis using R/SAS, SQL, Hive, Pig, Python, and other tools, mentor juniors, and help promote TransUnion analytic products and services.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field with academic excellence.
• 4+ years of analytic experience in Financial Services or related industries.
• 3+ years of client-facing experience.
• Proficiency in R or SAS; experience with SQL, Hive, Pig, Python, C/C++, Java.
• Familiarity with relational/MPP/Hadoop data management; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive new business initiatives for US B2B clients.
• Lead analytic engagements with descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analyses.
• Design/write programs for data extraction, segmentation, and statistics on large datasets.
• Deliver insights and recommendations to internal/external executive audiences.
• Develop proposals, sales materials, and collateral for integrated solutions.
• Identify opportunities for customers to test and adopt analytic products.
• Provide mentorship and work with limited supervision; foster high performance.
