Ladders is seeking a Senior Data Scientist, People Analytics & Research, to apply advanced statistical methods to solve complex workforce problems and guide strategic HR decisions. This role partners with HR, Recruiting, legal, and other stakeholders to deliver actionable insights across recruitment, retention, compensation, and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a quantitative field is required.
• Master's degree or PhD in a relevant discipline is required.
• Expertise in causal inference and quasi-experimental research is required.
• Proficiency in R or Python for statistical analysis and SQL for data access is required.
• Experience with compensation, recruiting, or workforce analytics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and analyze people-related business problems.
• Use statistical models to generate insights into recruiting, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
• Translate data into visualizations and narratives that support strategic decisions.
• Align research priorities with business needs while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
• Lead compensation analytics and partner with legal teams on sensitive analyses.
• Design and measure quality-of-hire metrics in partnership with Recruiting.
• Continuously learn and teach to advance data science and people analytics.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance analysis and research capabilities.
