Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for its People Analytics team in Houston. You will build predictive models for workforce needs and deploy AI agents that directly inform HR leadership, with broad latitude in modeling and presentation standards.

You'll work with Workday and other systems, using SQL, Python, and LLMs to surface insights from unstructured data and communicate results to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, or a related analytical field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience as a data scientist in production environments (1+ with PhD, 3+ with MS).
• Fluency in SQL and strong proficiency in Python.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leaders to forecast needs and build trusted models and agents.
• Build and deploy predictive models in Python and SQL; monitor performance.
• Create AI agents to query People data and act with guardrails for sensitive data.
• Apply experimentation, causal inference, and explain methods to leadership.
• Leverage LLMs to surface patterns from unstructured data and integrate insights.
