Job summary

Lennar is hiring a Lead Data Engineer to guide our data engineering & analytics initiatives in a data-driven organization. You will design, build, and operate data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, and AI-enabled data products in a cloud-first environment.

You will collaborate with business teams to empower self-service analytics, improve data quality, and scale data infrastructure across Bronze/Silver/Gold layers while ensuring security and governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering with enterprise warehousing and cloud data lakes.
• Experience with SDLC, testing, and robust error handling.
• Strong data governance, RBAC and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operationalize data engineering solutions for Lennar's platforms.
• Architect and implement ETL/ELT and streaming data ingestion across sources.
• Develop and containerize Python data applications using cloud infra.
• Improve data ingestion architecture for quality, cost, and scalability.
• Enforce coding standards, testing, and secure CI/CD with schema evolution.
• Instrument platforms with metrics, alerts, and monitoring (SLA/SLO).
• Collaborate with data science on data layers for Generative AI and RAG.
• Integrate data from disparate systems for end-to-end data products.
• Align technical data work with core business objectives.
