Job summary

Senior Data Scientist on Lennar's People Analytics team will build models predicting attrition, hiring needs, and turnover risk, and develop AI agents that deliver insights to HR leaders for action. You’ll work with Workday and other HR systems, leveraging Python and SQL, and present results to senior leadership, shaping validation standards and how insights drive decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, or a related analytical field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience as a data scientist producing models and engineering solutions.
• Depth in predictive modeling including regression, time series forecasting, and classification.
• Strong statistical foundation with experimentation and causal inference.
• Experience with large, complex HR datasets and data wrangling with SQL or APIs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leaders to forecast needs and build trusted models and agents.
• Build and deploy predictive models in Python and SQL; monitor performance and retrain as needed.
• Develop AI agents to query and act on People data with safe guardrails for sensitive data.
• Explain model and agent results to HR and business leaders without deep technical background.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering on pipelines and data extraction for modeling.
• Stay familiar with Lennar's people data and improve outputs through validation and feedback.
