Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for the People Analytics team to build models forecasting attrition, headcount, and related trends. You will develop AI agents to deliver insights to HR leaders and work closely with Workday and other HR systems.

The role offers latitude in modeling approaches and presentation to senior leadership. Requires 5+ years in production data science, strong SQL and Python, and expertise in forecasting, causal inference, and LLM-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• Degree in Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, or related analytical field with equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience as a data scientist producing models in production.
• Strong background in predictive modeling, experimentation, and causal inference.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leaders to forecast needs and build trusted models and agents.
• Build and deploy predictive models in Python and SQL; monitor performance over time.
• Develop AI agents that query and act on People data with safe guardrails.
• Choose methods, run experiments, apply causal inference where appropriate.
• Use LLMs to surface patterns in unstructured People data and integrate findings.
• Extract and structure Lennar’s people data, partner with Data Engineering on pipelines.
• Explain model results and agent behavior to non-technical stakeholders.
• Handle sensitive workforce and compensation data with discretion.
