Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Senior Data Scientist on the People Analytics team to forecast attrition, headcount, and workforce trends. You will build predictive models in Python and SQL, deploy AI agents, and present results to HR leadership.

The role blends statistical rigor with practical implementation across Workday and Visier data ecosystems. You will collaborate with HR COEs, build scalable data pipelines, and translate complex results into actionable recommendations for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Economics, Math, CS or related field.
• 5+ years of data science experience in production environments.
• Strong background in predictive modeling and experimentation.
• Experience with LLMs, agents, and tool use; ability to explain methods.
• Proficient in SQL and Python; able to handle large HR datasets.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leaders to forecast needs and build trusted models.
• Develop and deploy predictive models in Python/SQL; monitor performance.
• Build AI agents to query and act on People data with guardrails.
• Explain methods and results to HR and senior leaders clearly.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering on data pipelines and data quality.
