Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for the People Analytics team to build predictive models and AI agents that inform HR leaders. The role combines statistical modeling, experimentation, and responsible use of large language models to surface insights from people data.

You will work with Workday and other HR systems, partnering with HR COEs, and report to the Head of People Analytics. This is a newly created, high-visibility position with significant impact on talent strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, or a related analytical field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience as a data scientist producing models and engineering solutions in production environment.
• Depth in predictive modeling including regression, time series forecasting, and classification.
• Strong foundation in experimentation and causal inference.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leaders to understand needs and build trusted models/agents.
• Build and deploy predictive models in Python and SQL; monitor performance and retrain as data evolves.
• Develop AI agents to query and act on People data with proper guardrails.
• Choose appropriate methods, apply experimentation/causal inference, and justify approaches to leadership.
• Use LLMs to surface patterns in unstructured People data and incorporate findings.
• Develop familiarity with Lennar’s people data; collaborate with Data Engineering on pipelines.
• Explain model results and agent behavior to non-technical audiences.
• Handle sensitive workforce and compensation data with discretion.
