Brooksource is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support the Modern Sales initiative at a Fortune 200 energy client. The role focuses on building, governing, and productionizing analytics and AI capabilities to power sales decisions across markets.

You will work with data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable Python‑based solutions using PySpark, Databricks, and ML models, with emphasis on governance, explainability, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, CS, math, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in data science, ML, or analytics.
• Experience with PySpark and Pandas for large-scale processing.
• Experience with ML model deployment and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data science, ML, and analytical capabilities.
• Translate business opportunities into analytical use cases with stakeholders.
• Develop scalable Python-based workflows using PySpark, Pandas, and Databricks.
• Build and enhance models, scoring, and decisioning capabilities.
• Ensure production readiness, governance, explainability, and security.
• Collaborate across product, sales, data engineering, and software teams.
• Participate in CI/CD, testing, and production deployments.
