Brooksource is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead complex data science initiatives from framing to production. You will own the data-driven value delivery, build ML/optimization/GenAI solutions, and partner with business and AI Engineering to deploy and monitor models in production.

The role requires deep statistical and ML knowledge, strong stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to translate analytical work into measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: Senior scope delivery of ML, optimization, experimentation, or GenAI solutions in production or decisioning.
• ML Tooling: Proficiency with Python ML libraries and production-grade model evaluation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Frame high-impact business problems for independent model ownership and cross-functional influence.
• Develop forecasting, propensity, classification, and ranking models for production decisions.
• Build prescriptive solutions using MILP, heuristics, or dynamic programming to improve operational decisions.
• Design GenAI workflows and evaluate model outputs for decision support.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests and causal analyses to measure lift.
• Monitor model performance, drift, and adoption, triggering retraining when needed.
