Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to support the Modern Sales initiative at a leading Fortune 200 energy client. The role focuses on building scalable web applications using React.js, Python, FastAPI, SQL Server, and Azure, guiding the platform toward data-driven decisioning and AI-enabled insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
• Experience with Python and FastAPI backend development.
• Experience with SQL Server and data access performance.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and YAML configurations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications for the Modern Sales platform.
• Design and develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop and optimize application data models, queries, and integrations utilizing SQL Server.
• Integrate Modern Sales applications with data platforms, analytical models, AI capabilities, internal enterprise services, and third-party APIs.
• Partner closely with data scientists and data engineers to expose analytical models through user-facing applications.
• Build modular, reusable components that scale as capabilities expand across markets.
• Establish and maintain development standards and governance across the program.
• Participate in architectural discussions to ensure scalable and secure solutions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps with YAML configurations.
• Implement unit and integration testing across front-end and backend components.
• Participate in Git-based development processes including branching and reviews.
• Implement structured logging, monitoring, and observability for production support.
• Troubleshoot production issues across front end, back end, APIs, and cloud infra.
• Support releases, testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
• Identify technical debt and opportunities to improve performance and maintainability.
• Maintain architecture and API documentation.
