Job summary

Canon U.S.A. seeks a Senior Data Scientist to bridge quantitative analysis with business execution across our business units. You will design, train, and deploy ML models for hyper-personalized marketing and maintain robust data pipelines for executive reporting.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience with Python/R/SAS/SQL, strong statistical skills, and autonomy. Hybrid schedule: in-office Mon–Wed, remote rest of the week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience (or Master's/Ph.D. with 3+ years).
• Advanced proficiency in Python, R, SAS, or SQL for complex data manipulation and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and deploy statistical and machine learning models to power personalized marketing campaigns.
• Construct forecasting models across sales, customer, channel, and product data.
• Design and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests to optimize marketing interactions.
• Build, automate, and maintain scalable data pipelines for large datasets.
• Ensure high data integrity for cross-functional reporting and dashboards.
• Acquire and integrate new data sources to enrich customer profiles.
