Slickdeals is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to shape growth by partnering with Product, Design, Engineering, Finance, and Marketing. You will combine data science, statistics, and causal inference to build frameworks and insights informing product decisions and growth strategy.

As a trusted cross-functional partner, you’ll turn complex questions into actionable insights that guide product direction and user growth at scale.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field.
• 8+ years with Masters or 5+ years with PhD.
• Strong track record in designing and interpreting A/B tests.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for large-scale data work.
• Ability to translate data into actionable exec-ready insights.
• Strong analytical mindset and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Inform product growth strategy with data-driven insights.
• Identify opportunities, define success metrics, and scope analytics projects.
• Build scalable measurement frameworks including LTV and retention.
• Design, run, and interpret A/B tests with causal inference methods.
• Develop dashboards and reports for key metrics across teams.
• Translate analyses into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate to strengthen the data foundation for growth experiments.
