Slickdeals is seeking a Senior Customer & Business Data Analyst to join the Finance & Business Operations team in San Mateo. You will shape how the company understands customers, marketplace performance, and opportunities for long-term growth.

You will work with executive leadership to translate data into strategic actions. You’ll analyze customer behavior, validate new data sources, and communicate clear insights through dashboards and presentations.

Qualifications

7+ years in analytics or related roles.
Advanced SQL and ability to independently explore large datasets.
Connect analytical findings to business economics and strategic implications.
Able to structure ambiguous questions and develop clear recommendations.
Experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience analyzing customer behavior, including acquisition, engagement, retention, or lifetime value.

Responsibilities

Drive strategic and operational analysis across customer, deal, merchant, product, financial, and external market data.
Develop deep understanding of customer and marketplace behavior to explain changes and opportunities.
Size new products, markets, and growth opportunities with data-driven assessments.
Validate data sources with Product, Engineering, and Data teams.
Proactively identify important questions and pursue analyses to influence decisions.
