Job summary

Hinge Health seeks a Senior Data Scientist to join the Growth Data Science team supporting the New Products Pod. You will build data science capabilities for emerging products, guiding positioning, launch, measurement, and scaling to accelerate growth.

You will partner with Growth Marketing, Product, Engineering, Design, and Data Science to answer foundational questions where success metrics are evolving, establishing measurement frameworks and experiment-ready data foundations for high-impact

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with large datasets to solve business and technology problems and generate insights for decision-making.
• 3+ years of experience using SQL and Python or R for data analysis and end-to-end analytical solutions.
• Experience with A/B testing, causal inference, funnel analysis, and other experimental frameworks.
• Experience defining metrics, building data models, and establishing measurement frameworks in ambiguous or greenfield environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop measurement frameworks and define success metrics for new products and programs.
• Conduct deep-dive and funnel analyses to understand behavior and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape strategy for positioning, marketing, launch, and scaling.
• Design and execute experiments with guardrails to measure incremental impact and prevent cannibalization.
• Build statistical models and user segmentations to improve conversion and experiences.
• Extend attribution frameworks to understand investments in new products and growth paths.
• Develop robust data models and experiment-ready datasets as a single source of truth.
• Build dashboards and self-service tools for visibility into funnel performance and results.
• Advocate for upstream instrumentation and consistent event schemas.
