Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Senior Data Scientist – GenAI for the LTC FWA Advanced Analytics team in Boston. Lead end-to-end fraud analytics, deploy Generative AI models and RAG systems, and translate complex fraud problems into scalable AI solutions.

Collaborate with data engineers to integrate these capabilities into production workflows. You will work with both business and technical partners to protect policyholders and improve program integrity, while leveraging Azure and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (CS/DS/Statistics/Engineering/Physics)
• 5+ years in probabilistic models, analytics and ML with real-world経験
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (PyTorch, scikit-learn, Hugging Face) and SQL, graph databases

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end development of fraud detection and risk analytics models.
• Perform advanced modeling and AI analysis on large datasets to identify fraud patterns.
• Demonstrate proficiency in developing, fine-tuning, and deploying Generative AI models (GPT) and cloud solutions.
• Build and optimize modular RAG systems with advanced retrieval methods and monitoring.
• Apply LLMs to parse documents and extract structured information.
• Stay up-to-date with Generative AI, prompt engineering, and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with data/ML engineers to integrate solutions into systems.
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical partners.
• Review work of other Data Scientists and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements.
