Job summary

Lawelawe Technology Services seeks an expert Data Scientist to transform complex data into insights in a fast-paced federal setting. You will build predictive models, dashboards, and scalable analytics to assist NSF OIG investigators, auditors, and leadership.

You'll leverage Python, SQL, and machine-learning techniques on structured and unstructured data and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders, delivering actionable recommendations and reproducible processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum of four years of professional data science analytics or related technical discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Extensive experience with structured and unstructured datasets.
• Experience building dashboards with Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analytics, statistical and non-statistical modeling, data mining, and data-management activities supporting projects.
• Gather and store source data, then process, clean, normalize, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Design, develop, and maintain analytical models, scripts, algorithms, and automated workflows.
• Design experiments and deploy scalable models using ML and AI methods.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations.
