Job summary

DCCA is seeking a Data Scientist to design and deploy advanced analytics and ML models for federal clients. The role requires a TS/SCI w/Poly clearance, 5+ years of data science experience, and expertise in Python, R, and SQL, with strong ML libraries and cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities include data processing, anomaly detection, visualization, and cross-functional collaboration to integrate models into production while maintaining strict security and data governance standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data science or ML engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and R; strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience with ML libraries: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Experience with cloud ecosystems (AWS GovCloud) and big data technologies (S3, EMR, Redshift).
• Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate predictive models and ML algorithms for federal challenges.
• Extract, clean, and analyze large volumes of data from disparate sources using ETL tools and cloud services.
• Implement anomaly detection and fraud prevention algorithms in large datasets.
• Translate analytical findings into dashboards/reports with QuickSight/Tableau/Power BI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy models into production.
• Ensure data governance and security compliance (HIPAA, Privacy Act, DoD/NIST).
• Monitor model performance and retrain models to prevent drift.
