Job summary

Innovative Systems & Solutions (ISS) in Annapolis Junction, MD, seeks a Senior Data Scientist to develop ML, data mining, and graph-based algorithms, prototype models, and produce data-driven insights for federal clients. You'll work with SMEs to translate business questions into analytical tasks and deploy prototype analytics into production workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline and 5 years of analytics experience required.
• Proficiency in Python and R for data manipulation and modeling.
• Experience with SQL databases and data visualization tools.
• PhD can substitute for four years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML, datamining, and graph-based algorithms to analyze datasets.
• Build models and run experiments to generate data when training data is unavailable.
• Create reports and visualizations that summarize datasets and provide insights to customers.
• Collaborate with SMEs to translate analysis into automated analytics.
• Guide analytics development toward scalable production solutions.
