Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead experimentation and decision science initiatives that inform key business decisions. You will partner with stakeholders to design, execute, and evaluate experiments, applying advanced statistical and causal inference methods to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with strong experimentation/data science experience.
• Strong expertise in statistical analyses and A/B testing.
• Proven end-to-end experimentation delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end experimentation and decision science projects.
• Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests, quasi-experiments, and causal studies.
• Advise partners on design, sample size, and measurement plans.
• Develop matched-control methodologies and statistical frameworks using Python, R, SQL.
• Apply regression and ML methods to support business decisions.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
