Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead experimentation and decision science initiatives that inform key business decisions.

You will partner with stakeholders to design, execute, and evaluate experiments, translate questions into testable hypotheses, and deliver actionable insights. You will independently drive analytics projects from problem definition to measurement and recommendation, using robust frameworks for treatment and control and communicating results for

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field with 2–4 years of experience; or Bachelor’s with 4–6 years in experimentation and data science/advanced analytics.
• Statistical and inferential analyses (advanced/expert level knowledge).
• A/B testing and experimentation (advanced/expert level knowledge); SME on sample sizing, market selection, creating matched controls using R or Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end experimentation and decision science projects, framing business questions and communicating results.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments including A/B tests and causal studies.
• Advise partners on sample sizing, power analysis, treatment/control selection, and measurement plans.
• Develop matched-control methodologies and statistical frameworks using Python, R, SQL.
• Apply advanced statistical techniques and machine learning to support decisions.
• Translate business challenges into analytical solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences; outline risks and actions.
• Build repeatable analytical workflows and maintain high standards for code quality and reproducibility.
• Provide guidance to analysts and junior data scientists on experimental design and methods.
• Contribute to experimentation and decision science best practices within the organization.
