Job summary

PODS is building analytical infrastructure to understand customer behavior and price elasticity, informing daily decisions across moving services. As a Data Scientist 3, you own the full modeling pipeline, deploy real models, and mentor junior scientists on high-impact analyses.

You will lead pricing strategy analytics, design experiments, and communicate results to senior leadership, driving multi-million dollar impact with scalable, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field or equivalent applied experience.
• 7+ years building and deploying models end to end as a senior contributor.
• Experience owning pipeline, model, deployment, and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own models end to end from design to production deployment.
• Develop and monitor elasticity, demand, conversion, and forecasting models.
• Solve pricing and capacity problems with LP/QP/MIP techniques.
• Establish drift detection and model monitoring for reliability.
• Define experiments and causal measurement with rigorous designs.
• Ship production-grade pipelines with CI, orchestration, and containers.
