Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to lead pricing and demand science within the Central Data and Analytics Organization. You will own modeling approaches, evaluation criteria for production, and the path from forecasting to automated pricing decisions.

You will design field experiments, present results to leadership, mentor other data scientists, and raise technical standards for AI systems, observability, and orchestration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• PhD/ Master’s in ML/AI preferred.
• 7+ years of data science or ML with production models.
• Deep expertise in demand forecasting and price response modeling.
• Experience designing field experiments including power analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own demand and price response modeling end to end.
• Deliver probabilistic forecasts for pricing and planning use.
• Define model evaluation criteria for production readiness.
• Mentor data scientists and present technical work to leadership.
• Partner with ML engineering to deploy and monitor production models.
