Campbell’s is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to act as a hands-on technical leader, scoping, developing, and operationalizing advanced analytics that drive measurable business value. You’ll partner with business and technical leaders to transform complex challenges into scalable analytics products, elevating Campbell’s as a data-driven market leader.

The role emphasizes mentorship, governance, and collaboration with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and R&D across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field (Statistics, CS, Math, Engineering, OR).
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in analytics, ML, and statistical models in production.
• Strong foundation in probability, statistics, ML, forecasting, experimentation, causal inference, optimization.
• Advanced Python and/or R with scalable, tested analytics solutions.
• 2+ years SQL experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, or similar.
• Experience with libraries: pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, LightGBM, statsmodels.
• Experience with MLOps and software practices: Git, Docker, MLflow, CI/CD, monitoring, production support.
• Ability to design experiments, measure success, and communicate findings to tech and non-tech audiences.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring of junior data scientists.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of analytics solutions including ML, DL, AI, optimization, and data mining.
• Translate data into actionable insights through data sourcing, cleansing, engineering, and validation.
• Own deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of production models with CI/CD and drift detection.
• Partner with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and R&D for high-impact opportunities.
• Design experiments and A/B tests to evaluate initiatives and support data-driven decisions.
• Develop visuals and narratives for senior leadership to translate findings.
• Collaborate with data engineering to enhance platforms and evaluate new tech.
• Mentor junior data scientists through code reviews and guidance.
• Contribute to analytics standards, reusable assets, and training programs across the org.
