Qualifications

• Typically requires 5+ years of related experience with a relevant degree or 3 years with a Master's.
• Proficient in Python or R for data science and modeling.
• Proficient with code environment management and versioning (e.g., Git).
• Experience retrieving and working with data from remote data sources (databases, APIs, cloud data lakes).
• Proficient in data processing and exploratory data analysis on structured and unstructured data.
• Proficient in machine learning and NLP, including model tuning and time-series analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying information sources and gathering data to support decisions for MITRE and sponsors.
• Apply analysis skills including time series, regression, and text analysis.
• Draw conclusions and communicate key findings clearly in reports and briefings.
• Develop data visualization products to present complex data.
• Translate unstructured data into business insights for stakeholders.
• Support investment, economic, and decision analyses and cost/benefit studies.
• Deliver findings through written reports and in-person briefings to varied audiences.
