Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Data Scientist on the VALUE team to transform data into actionable insights that drive product strategy and customer outcomes. You will analyze structured and unstructured data, develop statistical and machine learning solutions, and communicate findings through clear visualizations and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, analytics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, ML, or related roles.
• Demonstrated experience using Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
• Experience with statistical analysis, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling.
• Experience working within Agile product or engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Transform data into actionable insights to drive product strategy and outcomes.
• Develop statistical and ML models and evaluate performance with measurable outcomes.
• Communicate findings through dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
