Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Graduate Data Scientist to join its innovative data science team from anywhere in South Africa. You will design and deploy machine learning models, analyze large datasets, and extract actionable insights to inform business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with honors or Master's in Data Science, Statistics, CS, or Mathematics.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R with relevant libraries.
• Solid understanding of statistics and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with SQL and data manipulation techniques.
• Familiarity with Spark or Hadoop is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Must be based in South Africa and have reliable internet access.
