Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Data Scientist specializing in AI/ML to join its distributed team. You will design, develop, and deploy advanced ML models leveraging large datasets to drive business insights and product innovation, while mentoring teammates and shaping the AI roadmap.

Required: Ph.D./Master’s in a quantitative field, 6+ years of hands-on data science, and strong Python/R with TensorFlow/PyTorch.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sophisticated ML algorithms and deep learning models to solve complex business problems.
• Design and execute A/B tests and experiments to evaluate model performance and business impact.
• Clean, process, and analyze large, complex datasets from varied sources, ensuring data integrity.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other data scientists to define project requirements and deliver insights.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines and ML infrastructure for training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Stay current with AI research and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to team growth and best practices.
• Contribute to strategic data science roadmaps and identify new analytical opportunities.
