Job summary

Praxis Precision Medicines is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to build and deploy models and data products for drug substance/product processes, packaging, and labeling. You will work across CMC with Engineering, Process Chemistry, Formulation, Analytical Development, and external CDMOs to turn data into actionable insight and decisions.

This hands-on, high-ownership role requires strong Python/SQL skills, Databricks experience, and the ability to drive AI-enabled workflows while ensuring data

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant science/engineering field with data science application.
• 5+ years in biotech/pharma process development, data science, or engineering.
• Hands-on Python and SQL; Databricks or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead model development and deployment for drug substance/product processes.
• Translate DoE, PAT, IPC and batch data into predictive analytics.
• Build analytics for unit operations and packaging/labeling readiness.
• Create data products and dashboards for technical and executive audiences.
• Apply AI/ML and govern data integrity in workflows.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to regulatory filings.
