Job summary

Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to build and deploy models, data products, and digital tools that help develop drug substance and drug product processes, as well as packaging and labeling.

Working with CMC, Engineering, Process Chemistry, Formulation, Analytical Development, Quality, Data Science, and CDMOs, you will turn process and experimental data into actionable insight, drive technology transfer, and apply AI/ML while ensuring data FAIRness and

Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in a related scientific/engineering field with data science application.
5+ years in biotech/pharma process development, engineering, or data science.
Experience with process modeling, DoE, statistics, and data-driven decisions; packaging/labeling exposure is a plus.
Strong hands-on skills in Python and SQL; experience with Databricks and BI/visualization tools.

Responsibilities

Lead development, validation, and deployment of mechanistic, hybrid, and data-driven models for drug substance, drug product, packaging, and labeling processes.
Translate DoE, PAT, IPC, batch data into predictive analytics informing process understanding and risk assessment.
Develop analytics for unit operations (blending, granulation, compression, coating, fill/finish) and packaging readiness.
