Job summary

Pfizer's Data & Analytics team seeks a leader to oversee analytical methodology for AI-driven workflows, focusing on model selection, cohort segmentation, and decision logic. Lead development and oversight of methods across real-world healthcare data, including claims and EHR.

You will define and evaluate AI models, design data-based segmentation strategies, ensure methodological rigor in agentic AI systems, and collaborate with engineering to translate these into production.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related fields.
• 8+ years of experience in healthcare data science, including claims, EHR, or HEDIS/OMOP data.
• Hands-on experience with large language models and agentic AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and evaluate AI models, design real-world data-based segmentation strategies, ensure methodological rigor in agent decisioning.
• Collaborate with engineering to translate these into production systems.
• Support strategic planning by aligning analytics with business priorities, communicate insights to stakeholders, and mentor junior data scientists and engineers.
