Job summary
Pfizer is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Scientist to guide analytical direction for the Innovation, Data & Analytics team. You will design, evaluate, and lead production-ready AI and ML solutions working with data engineers, governance, and business stakeholders.
You will translate medical and business questions into rigorous analytic plans, mentor data scientists, and help ensure responsible, scalable analytics across Medical Affairs.
Qualifications
- Breadth of capabilities including influencing peers and coaching others.
- Hands-on data-science methods in regulated environments.
- Experience with leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead selection, design, and evaluation of analytical and ML approaches for IDA initiatives.
- Define analytical logic, performance measures, and validation methods for models.
- Develop production-ready pipelines with AI/ML engineers and data engineers.
- Ensure outputs align with data models, privacy, and governance requirements.
- Monitor model performance, detect data drift, and address issues proactively.
- Provide analytical input to IDA strategic planning and roadmaps.
