Job summary

NewsBreak is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Ad Platform team. You will leverage advanced analytics, ML, and statistical modeling to optimize ad delivery, improve targeting, and enhance the advertising experience.

You will partner with engineering, product, and sales to drive data-driven decisions, build scalable data pipelines, and implement real-time ML systems that power our advertising platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data science, analytics, or ML, preferably in advertising or digital marketing.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or TensorFlow.
• Expertise in statistical analysis, A/B testing, and causal inference.
• Nice to have experience with RTB platforms and ad datasets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large-scale datasets to identify trends and optimize ad performance.
• Design experiments to evaluate bidding strategies and user engagement.
• Provide insights via dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with engineers to build scalable data pipelines and ML systems.
• Work with product managers to define KPIs and inform roadmaps.
• Improve ad targeting, ranking, and delivery with ML models.
