Headway is seeking a Senior Data Science Manager for Provider Experience to define and lead our data science strategy for providers. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Design, Clinical and Customer Success leadership to turn insights into measurable improvements across provider workflows.

You will lead a high-performing team, develop quarterly roadmaps, and translate complex findings into clear recommendations for executives while advancing our mission to improve mental

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data science or analytics experience.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Strong product mindset with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven success partnering with Product, Engineering, Data, Design, Operations, and Customer Success.
• Proficiency in forecasting, experimentation, and causal inference.
• Experience with data modeling, ideally using dbt.
• Hands-on SQL and Python or R.
• Experience adopting AI-assisted tools to automate data workflows.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing data science team.
• Develop quarterly roadmaps with cross-functional partners.
• Drive insights through strategic analysis, reporting, experimentation and predictive modeling.
• Obsess over provider experience metrics surfacing gaps and improvements.
• Deep dive into areas to segment data and uncover opportunities.
• Stay close to the data by tackling strategic projects yourself.
• Translate complex findings into clear recommendations for executives.
