Job summary

Headway is redefining access to mental healthcare in the United States. As Senior Data Science Manager for Provider Growth Product, you will shape data science strategy, partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Design, Clinical and Customer Success leadership, and drive product-led growth to expand Headway's provider network.

You will lead experimentation, develop quarterly roadmaps, and manage a high-performing team to translate insights into measurable improvements for provider

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
• 3+ years of experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong product mindset with experience in Product.
• Experience with marketing or product-led growth initiatives is a plus.
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, Design, Operations, Clinical and Customer Success teams.
• Proficiency in forecasting, experimentation, and causal inference.
• Experience with data modeling, ideally using dbt.
• Hands-on fluency in SQL and Python or R.
• Experience adopting AI-assisted tools to accelerate data workflows.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing and LTV measurement initiatives.
• Lead experimentation efforts in the product.
• Lead and grow a high-performing Data Science team.
• Develop quarterly roadmaps with cross-functional partners and align DS resources.
• Drive insights through strategic analysis, reporting, experimentation, and predictive modeling.
• Identify gaps in provider growth metrics and surface improvement opportunities.
• Deep dive into data to segment and uncover opportunities to enhance provider experiences.
• Stay close to data by tackling strategic projects and identifying trends.
• Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for executives.
